Implant Bar Supported Denture
The Bar Attachment Denture technique (also known as same day teeth or same day smiles) delivers the maximum results in the shortest treatment time with minimal discomfort. Bar Attachment Denture procedure is a method to replace a full arch of missing teeth with dental implants supporting a fixed denture/bridge
Cosmetic dentures, NOT like grandma’s denture.
This unique surgical procedure oftentimes, allows patients who may not have been considered candidates before, to have a fixed implant denture that is not removable, improving their smile and their function.
Patients who choose the Bar Attachment Denture procedure experience improved function and aesthetics with the added benefit of fewer surgeries and a fixed denture bridge that does not need to be removed in the same appointment! Unlike dentures, Bar Attachment Denture implants are permanent, so they remain in your mouth and attached to your gums.
Some of the benefits with Bar Attachment Denture include:
- Requires minimal recovery time
- Eliminates the need for bone grafting, in most cases
- Allows for easy maintenance through proper oral hygiene
- Restores the ability to eat all types of foods
- Ensures long-term results with the potential to last a lifetime
- Renews a youthful appearance through bone level stabilization
- Enhances self-confidence and overall quality of life
Why Bar Attachment Denture®?
Rapid improvement in quality of life
The Bar Attachment Denture® treatment concept provides edentulous and soon-to-be edentulous patients with a fixed full-arch prosthesis on four implants on the day of surgery. This quickly leads to improved patient satisfaction – with regards to function, esthetics, sense, speech, and self-esteem.
Stability even in minimum bone volume
By tilting the two posterior implants, longer implants can be used. This increases bone-to-implant contact and avoids vertical bone augmentation. In addition, the tilted implants can be anchored in better quality anterior bone, reduce cantilevers and help avoid important anatomical structures.
